Since it was just Halloween I personally can not think of a better time to talk about some of the scariest games we have on the market today. Everyone likes a good horror movies every once in a while to get the adrenaline going and video games have added an extension on to some of these feelings you get from watching the movie you can now experience them yourself in a first person world where you make the decisions.

1. Slender The 9 Pages- This game is a classic horror game which is fun to play with friends and get your adrenaline running as a monster named the Slender man chases you around the map as you try to collect the 9 pages and get away.
2.  Alien isolation- If you have ever played Alien Isolation you would know this a relatively new game where there is a character that is living on a spaceship where an alien comes on board and tries to hunt you down as you try and escape.
3. 5 nights at freddy’s- This game is not the most scary game but I thought it would be a good addition to just round out the list. This game involves animatronic animals that work at birthday party place similar to Chuck E. Cheese. Yet in the game you are hired as the security guard at night who is supposed to  watch the property when the machines begin to come to life and slowly make there way toward you as you try and fend them off with light.

 

As many of you know the new call of duty game has just been released after spectacular reviews on the beta version we finally have the full game. You also may have noticed the new and probably most popular game mode added to the game being the Black Out game mode where you land on the map looking for weapons in a battle royal themed game where the last person standing wins. Sound familiar? Probably because you probably have also heard of a game called Fortnite which is one of the number one games on the market right now leading the way for the next generation of video games by popularizing a new game mode which will change first person shooter forever. Now to the big question, which game is going to survive now that they both offer the same content which is going to do best? Easiest answer is most likely that nobody has any clue but there are some things that distinguish the game from one each other which will affect which is more popular. For one, Fortnite has one major Pro and that is that the game is completely free for anyone who wants to play it which means it will draw in gamers who are not willing to pay the 60 or so dollars to play black out. Yet on the other hand the Black Ops series is bringing with it one of the largest fan bases in the gamer space at the moment which is going to carry momentum into the game sales. So overall I do not believe either game is bad it more comes down to which game is the right fit for you.

When you ask a typical console gamer whats the first thing that comes to mind when you say first person shooter 9/10 of them will say call of duty. The call of duty series in specific the black ops series started with the unforgettable single player story mood where the main character Mason starts out cuffed to a chair with people demanding to know what the numbers mean. This starts the insane story line of going through all of Masons memories of all his Black ops missions through Vietnam, Russia and so on to try and discover what the numbers mean. This starts one of the greatest story line of all time which continued through black ops 2 and 3. Personally I had fallen in love with these story lines as a younger kid not being good at the game I was able to play these with ease while also being entertained. Now with Black Ops 4 this is where people became extremely upset with the change of not putting in any single player story line. The main reason for this is purely due to the fact that the game was already so big that they could not fit single player in the game. Not only that but with the black out game mode it takes up most of the space. Personally I do not mind no campaign in the game purely because it was so good that adding more and more to a story that has ended several times in the end would ruin the story and by ending it here they will be able to preserve the legacy of one of the most amazing story lines in history.

As some of you may have seen a new Suicide squad movie will be coming out being directed by James Gunn. Seeing that they are going to make another one of these movies makes me a bit skeptical just because to be honest I did not like the last one and I do not believe a lot of people likes the last one either. People may ask why I do not like the movie and its not that its a bad movie in all cases. Parts of the movie were a bunch of fun to watch like the end but if you saw other superhero movies at the same time as this you would understand that this movie compared to Captain America civil war was scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Then again a good amount of the movie was very good the biggest part that was a let down to me was that there was action but not a lot and the movie was not very long either. On the action side a lot of the action was done while the characters were trying to be funny and create the same kind of atmosphere that was similar to Deadpool or Gaurdians of the Galaxy but kind of took a massive fail. why did it take fail could you ask and it would simply be that they were not funny. Like at all. So this comes back to the new movie, James Gunn has decided to take the original and cast and come at the series in a different angle and I would be willing to go see how this movie has changed and hope to see it progress to something closer to looking like the avengers series.

 

Going through twitter today I read one of the hardest things I will ever have to read in my life. You may think someone died or something tragic happened, and you would be right. Going through twitter I have read that Chris Evans is quitting his role as Captain America and has finished the final filming for the avengers 4 movie. This is quite a sad day since we all know Chris Evans as the man behind the blue mask Captain America but it looks like our favorite movie series may soon be coming to an end. On top of Chris Evans leaving it seems as though Robert Downey Jr. is being rumored to leave his spot as Iron man leaving a massive hole in the middle of the Marvel cast. Not only does it worry me about the possibility for the casting of new superheros but also the possibility that something may happen to the superheros in the next movie that can cause them to permanently retire. Imagine the possibility that the superheros Captain and America and Iron man are to die in the next movie not allowing us to be able to see the things Stan Lee Wrote in action like Iron mans god killing suit or any of the other cool stuff. Then again these guys have been going on now as some pretty old avengers and on the other hand it might be time to give the next generation of hero a shot like spider man and ant man.

If your reading this odds are you know or have heard of this amazing game called Forza Horizon 4 and its spectacular graphics and new game mechanics so on top of that im gonna shed a little light on some of the Pros and cons of this game are.

Pros-

Visualization- The Forza series of games have always been known for there ability to keep up newly emerging technology to be able to bring us the most beautiful looking game on the market. Not only does it look beautiful be the attention to detail within the game is incredible. For example the Forza Vista part of the game allows you to take any car and inspect it with the ability to sit in the car and see every detail as if you were sitting in the real car.

Variety- What separates Forza from other car games is its extremely wide variety of cars, some that you might not have even heard before or exist in your country. With this immense selection the game never stops and you always have something to work toward to buy or to upgrade.

Cons-

Redundancy- As a consumer I can see when a producer is trying there best to keep a game interesting to all people but for some its just not. In my case I love the cars I love the game but after playing it for a while you feel that your just doing the same thing over and over and over again. Some people may enjoy this or like to mess around and go at there own pace in which this would be a good game.

To much stuff to do- One of the biggest pet peeves to me is that when I have to many things going on and I do not have the time to finish one and move on to the next. In Forza that is always the case. You finish one mission or event and ten more different story lines and events come up and it gets to a point where you begin to feel like you will never win and just cant get them all

 

It’s official! The greatest game to ever be put on the market has been released today for pre-order players. If you don’t know what game I am talking about I will let you know it is Forza Horizon 4. If you have never played any type of Forza game I will let you know that the Forza game series has plenty of different style games. The Forza Horizon series is different from the other Forza series due to the fact that this series is entirely free roam which means that you can travel all over the map without restrictions of out-of-bounds. What separates this game and other games is the insane amount of cars available to players from your everyday ford F-150 all the way to the to the new Mclaren sienna. My favorite part of the game is the ability to buy my dream car and be able to spec it to exactly what I would want it to be like. For this new game they moved the location from Australia combining the outback the city and the beach life to play with all different types of vehicles. With this game they moved the play area to Britain where you can drive through the city and also the countryside having the ability to experience the full capabilities of your super car or rally car. With the new game Playground games has made it easier to level up and gain new cars without following the slight story line they give you and completing races. They have made it that all challenges you do and all other things together attribute to your level and let you progress on your own path.

As some people may have seen the new Bumblebee trailer has been released for quite some time now and after watching it I have some mixed feelings about how this movie is going to play out compared to the last few transformer movies. Having watched the trailer several times now it does not seem that we will have as many transformers as in the last few movies that we have gotten to know and love like Ironhide or ratchet. Even though it may seem that we will be seeing a few scenes of Optimus Prime not in person yet through a transmission coming from Cybertron. Overall I would say that in my opinion the new movie looks a lot more cartoonist then the way that they used to be. Also from the looks of it there are not even close to the amount of transformers as the last few movies. I honestly just do not believe this movie will be anywhere close to as good as the lost few movies due to the redesign of bumblebee and the change in all actors character roles has completely changed the movie from the great movie it used to be. After seeing all the changes it looks as though someone took a movie series and scaled it to be better from a junior audiences which in the end is going to reduce your older audiences. In conclusion my opinion on this movie is that it is going to be a total fail and is going to be an outlier compared to the original transformers movies.

As I am sure all of you are familiar with the popular game by Epic games “Fortnite” made by the same company that created infinity blade for IOS. At the moment Fortnite is one the most popular game on the market and there are several reasons for this. One of the biggest ones being its free and anyone can play it. Another reason it gets so much attention is the ability for people to access games on all platforms which allows it to reach a very large amount of gamer’s. These two attributes combined have the capability to create an extremely successful game and that is what we got. The only question now is, will there be a game coming out anytime soon that is going to be more popular then fortnite? And I am here to tell you that there is no absolute answer to this question, personally I would say the next major games is going to be where ever the current most famous video game influencer of the time goes which happens to be Ninja. I will admit that Fortnite itself will never die due to its accessibility and ability to be played on all platforms it will always reach consumers who do not want to spend money on the next game. There is one exception to this and that is the new call of duty game mode which will surely bring in hundreds of new gamers. The reason this will succeed is because of call of dutys already massive fan base and following which will surely bring in people to buy the game and then along with the new game mood which will bring in people from the Fortnite fan base

As of 3 hours ago the movie we have all been waiting for since the Infinity wars movie has finally been released, Captain Marvel one of the most powerful superheros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After watching the trailer in barely being able to sit still i was not sure weather watching made me as excited as I though it would have. The issues that I though were going to be addressed in the Captain Marvel are seeming to be left untouched until the next Avengers movie. This was kind of disappointing personally after seeing the after credit scene in infinity wars and watching my whole theater implode in cheering after seeing the Captain Marvel symbol to watch the trailer and see nothing at all including the infinity wars series.  Yet if we turn away from the Infinity wars series and look at the movie itself just the trailer is making me believe this is a must watch marvel movie that will still answer plenty of questions from previous marvel movies. One of the questions being what happened to Nick Furry’s eye? In the trailer it is easy to see that Nick Furry the future director of Shield is seen riding around in the car with Captain Marvel with both eyes untouched. Also this leads me to wonder how does Captain Marvel and Nick Furry know each other anyways? And what happens throughout the movie that leads them to meeting each other and what causes them to separate to different planets which is clearly seen in the trailer. Many questions to ask but I guess we just have to wait until March 8th 2019.
